Shellie
Nelson

Shellie's book, "it's going to be okay" is a diary-like reflection told with brutal honesty, unwavering hope, a little pettiness, some humor and a whole lot of heart.  This book is meant for anyone who wants to know that there is promise for better.

In the aftermath of an emotionally abusive relationship landing her in jail, Shellie reflects back on how she ended up in this place in life. A successful professional who seemingly had it all together, yet she was faced with her third failed marriage and life was falling apart around her.

Shellie recalls her childhood growing up in the trailer park raised by her mother, "The Trailer Park Queen".  Her mother was an expert at pretending everything was okay when it was far from it. At the same time, she never gave up on herself, despite life giving her all the reasons to quit, she moved forward with laughter, love and a feistiness to hold on to this life making it the best she could with what she had.

Powerful, enlightening and hopeful, this touching exploration will find you laughing and crying all at the same time.

"Shellie's ability to talk about difficult things and make it about positivity, strength and family is incredible. She is an alchemist, turning lead into gold."
